Carnegie Hall Choral Concert #2 – New York City (8 PM)

The Arcadia Symphony and Chorale will present the Final Movement of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony (Ode to Joy), and a collection of other works at Carnegie Hall’s Isaac Stern Auditorium. Celebrate the spirit of America with Carnegie’s world premiere of George Gershwin’s You Are My Rhapsody in Blue, Aaron Copland’s Lincoln Portrait, Sousa’s Stars and Stripes, Kern’s “Old Man River”, featuring soloists Na Sun (violin, NY Philharmonic), Megan Weston, Daniel Sedov and Alok Kumar (Metropolitan Opera), and Laura and Christopher Dwyer.
