The Brandywine Valley Chorale presents “Passion Music” by Will Todd – Kennett Square (7:30 PM)

Brandywine Valley Chorale, together with choirs from Unionville, Kennett, and Pequea Valley High Schools, presents this special concert event. Passion Music is the work of English virtuoso Will Todd’s successful fusion of jazz and choral music. The work highlights different aspects of the Passion story (the final hours in the life of Jesus Christ). The piece makes full use of the composer’s understanding of beautiful melodies combined with Biblical text — creating an exciting, soulful, and spellbinding experience. The performance features a gospel soloist and seven-piece jazz ensemble. Most especially, Mr. Todd will join the musicians and vocalists on stage as guest composer!
