Robin and His Merrie Men (British Pantomime) – Kennett Square, PA (7:30 PM)

KATS (Kennett Amateur Theatrical Society) will be presenting “Robin and His Merrie Men” in British Pantomime style.  This is an annual event with a cast of all ages and an interactive show, it will be fun for everyone.  Brenten will be the Music Director this year. Imagine a fairy story done in a vaudeville style with songs, music, terrible jokes, cross-dressing and humor that can be appreciated — if not always understood — by the entire family.  With origins in 17th-century England, the Panto is a twist on well-known fairy tales and fables, filled with slapstick comedy, musical numbers and dancing. The audience cheers the heroes, boos the villains and sings along.  Tickets are available at the KATS website or at the door. $15/adult $5/child.
