Holiday Concert by Brandywine Valley Chorale – Kennett Square, PA (7:30 PM)

The Brandywine Valley Chorale invites you to their upcoming holiday concert. The main featured composition, Magnificat, is a gorgeous five-movement work performed by a full chorus, soprano soloist, piano and orchestra. Magnificat recounts the Biblical story of the visit by Mary, the mother of Jesus, to her cousin Elizabeth, mother of John the Baptist. It was written by the respected American composer of sacred music, Taylor Scott Davis. The program highlights additional seasonal works and will include our traditional Christmas carol sing-along.
