“Carmen” presented by N J Lyric Opera at Mercer County College (7:30 PM)

The opera “Carmen” by Georges Bizet will be presented at the Kelsey Theatre on the campus of Mercer County College in West Windsor Township, New Jersey.  This passionate yet comic opera has musical numbers separated by dialogue. It will be sung in French with English subtitles.  It is set in southern Spain and tells the story of the downfall of Don José, a naïve soldier who is seduced by the wiles of the fiery gypsy Carmen.  Brenten will be playing the role of Dancaire, the smuggler.  Tickets at Kelsey.mccc.edu at $26.50/each.
